Nina Tekken - The Return of Nina Williams!

Nina Williams is part of Tekken history, in that Nina Tekken is one of the few characters to appear in every game in the series (right back to Tekken 1 in 1994). Nina is a deadly assassin whom has been hired for various missions throughout the game, and means she’s a lot tougher than she looks.

She is the older sister of Anna Williams, but has a mixed relationship with her, as can be seen from the various cutscenes throughout the series. Nina Tekken and her sister were both born and raised in Ireland, although you wouldn’t suspect it, given their American style and appearance. Nina is also the mother of Steve Fox, a boxer from London, England. She gave birth to him while in custody of the Mishima Empire, who artificially created Steve, using her as the carrier.

In Tekken 5, Nina Tekken was once again listed as a top tier character (officially), and has been used by many of the top players since. She has a very strong all-round game, so she’s unpredictable to play against, as she can mix things up a lot. She’s also very good at juggling her opponents, and can score massive damage very quickly. This had lead to many arguments in the game, as many players believe that Nina is vastly overpowered, and unrealistically good. The argument is that she does more damage with her jabs than a character like Kuma (a huge grissly bear) does with his. In Tekken 6, it has been seen in the arcade version of the game that Nina has been toned down a bit in strength, but she remains as quick and lethal as ever.

Nina Williams is undoubtedly one of the game’s ‘pin up’ characters, as she has a tall, thin figure, long blonde hair and blue eyes. She’s often voted in polls as being the hottest video game character around.
